Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using Astro Relocation AI at astrorelocation.ai ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Amponsah, a sole trader / business operator in Finland (Business ID / Y-tunnus 3628999-3).
2. Service status
Astro Relocation AI is an early-stage service under active development. The astrocartography map features are free and publicly accessible. Features may change, break, or be removed, and some features — for example the AI assistant and paid plans — are not yet available. We may change, limit, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Your account and responsibilities
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate account information and to be old enough to consent under our Privacy Policy (see "Children and minors").
- Tell us promptly at support@astrorelocation.ai if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Using the map without an account — limitations
You can render astrocartography maps — natal, relocation, transit, and progression — without creating an account. This anonymous map rendering is provided for limited, transient chart rendering only. It does not create an account or save your data, it is rate-limited, and it may be changed or disabled at any time without notice. To save charts or places, or to use account features, you must register and sign in.
5. No guaranteed availability
The Service is provided "as available." We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted access, or that the Service will be error-free, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time — particularly while the Service is under active development.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure (for example automated scraping, exceeding rate limits, denial-of-service, or probing for vulnerabilities);
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems, or circumvent security or authentication;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Service except where the law expressly permits it;
- submit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or data you have no right to submit; or
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of others' rights.
We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access for breach of this section.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, layout, and original content (excluding your own data and third-party components), is owned by Amponsah and protected by applicable law. Third-party components are used under their own licenses, and their terms and attributions apply — this includes Swiss Ephemeris (astronomical calculation software/data used on our server) and map data from MapTiler and OpenStreetMap. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
8. Your content and the data you submit
You keep your rights in the birth/chart data, notes, and other content you submit. You grant us only the limited rights we need to store and process that content in order to operate the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you submit and for having the right to submit it — including where you enter another person's birth details (you must have an appropriate basis to do so).
9. Subscriptions and payments (future — not active)
The Service is currently free. Paid subscriptions and payment processing are not active, and no payment is taken today. If we introduce paid plans in the future, separate terms — covering pricing, billing, renewal, and refunds — will be presented to you, and any charge will require your prior agreement at that time.
10. Astrology and reflection — nature of the Service
The Service provides astrocartography and astrology tools (natal, relocation, transit, and progression charts and maps) for reflection, entertainment, education, and self-insight. Astrocartography lines and chart interpretations are symbolic interpretation tools — not guarantees, predictions, or statements of fact. See the full Astrology Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Not professional advice
The Service is not, and must not be relied on as, medical, psychological, legal, financial, tax, immigration, employment, housing, or emergency advice, and is not a substitute for qualified professionals.
12. No guaranteed relocation outcomes
Astrocartography indicates symbolic "lines" associated with locations. It does not guarantee any outcome, experience, opportunity, safety, or result from moving to, visiting, or avoiding any place. Real-world relocation involves legal, financial, health, and safety factors that are outside the Service and entirely your responsibility.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, Amponsah shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, for loss of data or profits, or for any decisions you make based on the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory law — including your statutory consumer rights under Finnish/EU law.
14. Termination and suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, suspected abuse, or legal or operational reasons. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — continue to apply after termination.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves — for example if the AI assistant or paid plans launch. We will post the updated version with a new effective date; for material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country of residence.
